Slow Stitched Stories
March - May 2024
One day a month over three months. A hand stitch seasonal textile course. With the seasons and nature as a starting point, using fabrics and threads from your stash, you will be guided on this slow stitching experience to create a unique textile story of your own. An opportunity to slow down, take your time and enjoy the journey.

Botanical Printing - Fabric
Monday 5th August 10:00-16:00
This one day workshop is all about creating prints on fabric. The morning will be spent sampling on small pieces of fabric, trying out different leaves and practicing laying out and binding the fabrics. During the afternoon you will be able use what you have learnt to print a unique eco-printed silk scarf.

Botanical Printing - Paper
Monday 2nd September 10:00-16:00
A fun, one-day workshop exploring the magical world of eco printing. Spend a day creating beautiful prints on paper using leaves and flowers. You will be able to print a selection of papers and also a small book. Learn a little about which plants work best and how to use different ‘blankets’ to create different backgrounds.
